Adidas lancia in questi giorni una serie di sneakers decorate con opere di Jean-Michel Basquiat. I modelli disponibili saranno le Classic, le Exofit, le Freestyle, le Npc e le Top-Down, e potranno essere acquistate solo in negozi selezionati.

Forse non tutti sanno che il “Picasso Nero” iniziò la sua carriera come writer insieme al suo amico Al Diaz, scrivendo Samo© (same old shit) sui muri di New York. A quanto pare gli altri graffittari non ci capivano molto di arte perchè hanno iniziato a scrivergli sopra TOY (che vuol dire incapace).

Chissà sle loro facce ora che le opere di JMB vengono vendute per cifre superiori ai 10 milioni di dollari a personaggi del calibro di Lars Ulrich dei Metallica o gli U2 al completo!
